Women’s role in Modernism can be studied from different perspectives (Wrenn, 2010). However, the same woman does not feature in the debates of modernism conducted by Marshal Berman in the Marxist space. The essay explores the lack of women, contributors and feminist marginalization in Berman’s discussion. The essay draws on three feminist critique offered by Felski and a few different aspects that are found in the three critiques.
