The effect of globalization and internationalization has created a significant impact on the global market in terms of expansion of international business. In this regard, it is seen that over the last couple of decades, large numbers of car manufacturing organizations have expanded their business operations in Australia (Sun et al., 2012). In this context, it is observed that the government of Australia has encouraged varied car manufacturing firms to introduce their business within the local market of Australia (Yannou, Cluzel and Dihlmann, 2013). However, it is identified that large numbers of organizations have faced indifferent challenges within the local market of Australia and it affected the operations of those international as well as domestic firm (Dowling, 2015). On the other hand, it can be argued that high competitive rivalry within the domestic locations of Australia has hampered the operations of car manufacturing firm and the impact has been directly seen on the overall performance of Australian automotive industry.
